• Traditional craftsmanship — when not crafting our hives, our master joiner is traditionally raising green oak frames using time-honoured mortise and tenon joints.
• Precise engineering — we bring that exact structural discipline to our beehives, featuring perfectly mitred corners for a clean, seamless, and exceptionally neat finish.
• Stainless steel fixings — every single external fixing is high-grade stainless steel to completely prevent rust streaks and maintain structural integrity over time.

Over a rigorous two-year testing period, Nick developed and refined a series of outdoor prototypes, exposing them daily to the harsh British elements and rough use, while trialling different timbers, finishes and construction methods to ensure only the strongest, most reliable materials and designs made the final cut.
