Bee Tidy Visits Badminton Horse Trials: Inspiration and Excitement
from the Cross Country Course
Yesterday, the Bee Tidy team had the pleasure of attending the
renowned 2026 Badminton Horse Trials, and the experience was nothing
short of exhilarating. The lively atmosphere and shared passion for
equestrian sport made for an unforgettable day, and we're excited to
bring some of that energy back to our projects in Kent.
One of the highlights of our visit was exploring jump 26ABC, the
Mayston Equestrian Hollow, nestled on the cross country course. This
striking combination immediately captured our attention, beginning
with a dramatic descent through two classic white beehives — a
wonderful tribute to both tradition and elegance. We were also
delighted to discover an additional eleven beehives dotted around
the area, transforming the space into a paradise for both bee
enthusiasts and eventing fans.
The day seamlessly blended the thrill of top-tier equestrian
competition with the whimsical charm of beehive motifs, leaving us
inspired and brimming with new ideas for Bee Tidy. We're looking
forward to channelling this inspiration into our upcoming projects
and can't wait to share new products and features soon.
We hope our journey sparks some excitement and creativity for your
week ahead!

It's All About the Bees at Chelsea!
We are thrilled to share some truly exciting news: today, we were
asked to supply a bespoke white beehive to the renowned Stevenson
Bros Rocking Horses for their much-anticipated stand at the 2026
Chelsea Flower Show. As the world's leading makers of rocking horses
and proud suppliers to the royal family, Stevenson Bros are a
household name, and it's a privilege to see our craftsmanship
featured alongside their iconic creations. Quite simply, you can't
ask for better publicity!
For this special occasion, we designed and handcrafted a unique,
four-tier Cascading Beehive Planter, standing elegantly on stilt
legs and finished in a favourite Farrow & Ball shade chosen
specifically for the rocking horse makers. This collaboration blends
timeless tradition with contemporary design, celebrating both the
artistry of Stevenson Bros and the practical beauty of Bee Tidy
storage beehives.
Adding the finishing touch, our friends at local company Nepeta
England will be planting up the beehive just before the show,
ensuring it's picture-perfect and ready to impress the judges on the
18th of May. We can't wait to see how our beehive planter enhances
the Stevenson Bros display and look forward to the buzz it will
create among visitors and judges alike.
Stay tuned for updates from the Chelsea Flower Show and, as always,
thank you for following our journey as we continue to create storage
solutions that truly stand out!
